Welcome to The "Dean's" List.  The purpose of this blog will be to share information about technology in education.  Posts will consist of EdTech tips and tricks, introductions to new applications/programs,  philosophical articles from the web, troubleshooting videos for current classroom technology, EdTech happenings in Detroit Country Day, etc.   Even though some of the content will be specific to Detroit Country Day, please feel free to follow as most of the information posted could be useful for all environments.

About the Author (Dean Haratsaris):

I currently am the Education Technology Specialist for Detroit Country Day School (an independent school in Beverly Hills Michigan), where I run our instructional technology.  I am a former high school business/science teacher and education technology trainer.   I have held SMART, Promethean, and Apple training certifications.  I have traveled the country training educators at all levels on how to integrate technology in the classroom. 

I am a husband and father of 3 boys.  I am extremely passionate about my family, education, technology and sports.  When it comes to technology in the classroom, I believe it's not about the technology you use but more about how you use it!!
